Art, Music, and Beer!

City-House_f8e09e33-5056-a36a-087f6260f5173070My Harrisburg Places artwork and new work The City I See: Chaos and Calm, will be on display at the City House B&B starting April 3 – 28, 2017.

The City House is located in the heart of Pennsylvania’s capital city, Harrisburg. Right along the banks of the picturesque Susquehanna River, this beautiful and charming urban retreat is handcrafted with fireplaces, stained glass, hardwood floors, and arched entryways. Enjoy the comfort of home with the convenience of a central city location.

The Harrisburg Places artwork photographs, printed on metal, of the Harrisburg Capitol were created in 2015 and 2016. Five photographs feature the capitol exterior, interior, and details of the senate and rotunda.

The City I See: Chaos and Calm images attempt to show my feelings of confusion about where I am, frustration about why I’m not where I want to be, and they also demonstrate order, simplicity, balance, and consistency. It isn’t perfection I strive for, it patience to practice. Each image features iconic Harrisburg landmarks as portrayed by paintings, showing different styles and features.
